Another life lost in the “Women’s Lives Cut Short” series.

For every year the person has lived I try to draw their picture for an equivalent minute. But I prioritise the art of ensuring they still look like them, with their soul and their essence present. However, the picture will always be incomplete, as they did not live their whole lives out as they should have.​​

Amie was 34 when her life was cut short.

​

 

Amie died from multiple stab wounds earlier this year on Durley Chine Beach. This attack was carried out by a male assailant unknown to Amie. 

​

 

Amie’s wife and mother describe her as a beautiful person inside and out. Who always lit up the room with her giggly laughter. A beloved wife and mother.
