Another life lost in the “Women’s Lives Cut Short” series.

For every year the person has lived I try to draw their picture for an equivalent minute. But I prioritise the art of ensuring they still look like them, with their soul and their essence present. However, the picture will always be incomplete, as they did not live their whole lives out as they should have.​​​
Kelly was 26 when her life was cut short.

Kelly was 8months pregnant when her then ex-partner murdered by fatally stabbing her 21 times. Her son Riley was delivered at the scene, but unfortunately passed away later on in hospital.

This drawing is far from completion, it shouldn't be this way. Her life shouldn't have stopped at only 26 years due to an abuser.
Both Kelly and Riley should still be here today.
