Another life lost in our “Women’s Lives Cut Short” series.

For every year the person has lived I try to draw their picture for an equivalent minute. But I prioritise the art of ensuring they still look like them, with their soul and their essence present. However, the picture will always be incomplete, as they did not live their whole lives out as they should have.

Sarah was 33 when her life was cut short.

Sarah was brutally kidnapped and murdered, Police Officer Wayne Couzens has been charged with her murder. Her body was found in a large bag in Kent woodlands, after disappearing from the Clapham area.

She was just walking home.

She was described by her family as a beautiful, kind and dependable young lady who was strong and whom brought so much joy to their lives.

This drawing should be full of colour, it shouldn't have stopped at 33 minutes due to male violence.

Sarah Everard,  33
